²⁵ ¶ And in the fifth year of King Rehoboam, Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem,

²⁶ And took the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the King’s house, and took away all: so he carried away all the shields of gold ^(A)which Solomon had made.

²⁷ And king Rehoboam made for them brazen shields, and committed them unto the hands of the chief of the guard, which waited at the door of the king’s house.
